With pre-payment of the first month tuition, I waive our $100 retainer/registration fee. This also holds the next available space for your child, if it is necessary to place them on a short wait list
I have well over 3 decades of experience running my home childcare business
I am available Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (10 hours daily)
I am licensed by the state to care for no more than 6 children at any given time. I am limited to no more than 3 infants under 12 months old
I normally care for only 3-6 children at any given time
We are located near I-65 and are convenient to UAB employees/students/area professionals.
I offer age-appropriate activities with a flexible schedule
I have current pediatric CPR certification and emergency first aid training
The chance of illness is reduced in smaller play groups such as mine. I have also installed a new, whole-house “Remee Halo Air Cleaner System” in both heating and air conditioning systems, which kills germs in our environment like so many hospitals have today
Parents do not need to send diaper bags. Each child receives an emergency basket here, containing clothing, bibs, etc.
Infants “not on the cup yet” have a gallon-size slide lock clear plastic bag containing three ready-to-heat and serve bottles of breast milk/formula and any infant foods that they will need for the day
I furnish a hot, well-balanced lunch, milk, and snacks daily for the toddlers, 12 months and older. Parents may send their toddler lunch and/or snacks if they prefer
For the convenience of our parents, I furnish all disposable diapers and hypoallergenic baby wipes for all of the infants and toddlers in our care
Your child receives consistent care by one caregiver—myself—and not by various workers on different shifts on different days
Weather permitting, we enjoy plenty of outdoor play time, including fun, fresh air, sunshine, and exercise.
Potty training for older toddlers preparing to enter preschool soon
Children are taught to be independent so as to be prepared to face the outside world
Educational flash cards and DVDs assist in learning letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and first words.
Good manners are taught, like “please” and “thank you”
Baby sing-along-songs on CDs which are fun to learn
At nap time, children rest while listening to soothing “spa” sounds of nature
Please call me today and we will discuss how we can transition your baby or toddler into our happy little
private family daycare home play group. We will make many happy memories together!
